U.S. Coast guard jumps onto a moving submarine allegedly carrying cocaine

The U.S. Coast Guard released a video Thursday showing a dramatic, high-speed ocean chase that ended with the capture of a purpose-built semi-submersible -- or submarine -- allegedly carrying a large sum of cocaine. The chase and seizure took place in international waters in the eastern Pacific Ocean June 18. University Park Airport to reopen after suspicious contents of checked bag rendered safe

State College, PA (WJAC) — All flights at University Park Airport were grounded Friday afternoon, due to what the Federal Aviation Administration said was a "security concern," leading to an evacuation and the bomb squad coming in. The airport has since reopened, and we have updates regarding the reportedly suspicious items in a checked bag. Douglas Braff also spoke with passengers whose flights were pushed till this morning. Update: State police said small games of chance are illegal unless conducted by a not-for-profit organization. They encourage Facebook users that encounter these groups to verify the group is hosted by a not-for-profit agency before proceeding. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board suggests contacting state police or the attorney general's office if you encounter a group you think is suspicious or may be hosting gambling in a for-profit capacity on Facebook.
