Clearfield community mourning loss of local theater employee following fire

Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Residents and community members in Clearfield Borough are mourning the loss of of one of their own following a fire earlier this week. The Ritz Theater confirmed on its Facebook page that Fred Brown, who was a longtime employee of the theater, passed away Wednesday night. Clearfield Mayor Mason Strouse posted to his Facebook page that Brown had been badly burned in a fire Tuesday afternoon on West Front Street. Read More...

Lancaster Co. dairy farm faces lawsuit for sale of illegal raw milk products

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Miller's Organic Farm is now facing a lawsuit for repeated violations of laws and regulations surrounding the sale of raw milk products. Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture announced the lawsuit on Tuesday. The complaint alleges that Miller's Organic Farm failed to obtain proper licenses and permits, sold illegal raw milk products and sold raw milk products outside of Pennsylvania. According to the Department of AG, these offenses put the farm in violation of Pennsylvania’s Milk Sanitation Law, Food Safety Act, Retail Food Facility Safety Act, and Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law. Penn State announces date for 2024 Blue & White game

University Park, PA (WJAC) — Penn State football has announced the date for its 2024 Blue & White game, the annual intra-squad scrimmage. University officials say next year's game will be held on Saturday, April 13 at Beaver Stadium and is expected to kickoff sometime in the early to mid-afternoon.
