West Virginia man killed in Bedford County crash involving tractor-trailer

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — State police say a West Virginia man was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash, involving a tractor-trailer, in Bedford County. Investigators say 70-year-old Walter Kwapien, of Morgantown, WV, was reportedly stopped at a stop sign, near the intersection of Allegheny Road and Hyndman Road, in Manns Choice Borough. 3-D archery shoot helps 5-year-olds family pay medical bills

JOHNSTOWN – A 3-D archery shoot was held Saturday at the St. Clair Tremont Club, with all the proceeds benefiting a 5-year-old boy who was hit by a CamTran bus earlier this year. Police said Colton Oster was riding his bike in March when he darted out of an alley into the path of the bus. He was flown to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC with serious injuries.
