Penn State fraternity placed on interim suspension

STATE COLLEGE – Penn State’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity has been placed on interim suspension after violations were reported. Penn State’s spokeswoman, Lisa Powers, said the fraternity has been placed on interim suspension while the university investigates allegations through Penn State’s conduct process. Powers said Penn State investigates any report of misconduct that it receives. Police continue to investigate incident at Spooky Nook Sports

Emergency crews responded to reports of gunfire Sunday afternoon at Spooky Nook Sports while a basketball tournament was taking place. According to police, no witnesses can confirm seeing a gun or victims of gunfire. CBS 21 News spoke with witnesses and officials to get their point of view. 'Totally wrong:' Altoona man accused of sexually abusing relative for years, police say

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Blair County say an Altoona man is behind bars following an investigation into accusations that he repeatedly sexually abused one of his relatives. Police say on Feb. 19, the victim, now age 18, reported that he had been repeatedly assaulted by 49-year-old James Kennedy. According to the affidavit, police say the victim disclosed that the alleged abuse began when he was 8 or 9 years old. Read More...
