New York governor Kathy Hochul announced Saturday on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the Steelers vs. Bills game scheduled for Sunday has been postponed. Hochul said she had been in communication with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell regarding the "dangerous conditions" in Buffalo this coming weekend. Veterans helping veterans at SCI-Houtzdale

HOUTZDALE - The Veterans Service Unit at the State Correctional Institute at Houtzdale is a place filled with men from all backgrounds: the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. But now, they all wear the same uniform. The VSU helps veteran inmates with reentry into society and connects them with the benefits they earned from their service. According to experts, skin cancer is the most common cancer in the world, and melanoma is the most dangerous. “In the United States, about 9,000 people will die from melanoma this year,” said Dr. Lorraine Rosamilia, a dermatologist at Geisinger Medical Group. But, melanoma is a cancer that can often be prevented by avoiding serious skin burns, too much time in the sun, and extended exposure to ultraviolet light in other forms, such as tanning beds.
