Altoona, PA (WJAC) — A spokesperson for the Seattle-based company Amazon confirmed to 6 News that it plans to open a warehouse facility in Altoona.
The spokesperson, Sam Fisher, says that the facility will operate as a delivery station, serving as the "final stop" in the delivery process.
Fisher says packages will be sorted and loaded onto Amazon's delivery vans at the Altoona facility, which will be located at the site of the former General Cable Building at 3121 Pleasant Valley Blvd. Read More...
