SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Wednesday afternoon at Ideal Market, Johnstown native Karen purchased something other than just groceries.
"I donated three cases of water for the hurricane folks, because I used to live in Florida, so I know what it's like," she told 6 News.
The donations are being taken by volunteers from 3C's Church in Central City, home of the Machine Gun Preacher.

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (NBC) — Actor Luke Grimes, who plays "Kayce" in the hit series "Yellowstone," was in East Palestine, Ohio Friday morning.
The Ohio native was on hand to give away 250 water filtration systems to local residents who have been impacted by February’s toxic train derailment.
Grimes signed autographs and took pictures with fans.
After hearing about the derailment, the actor knew he had to help.
“Ah you know, I don't know why or what went on or what the miscommunication was but obviously something happened here that needed to be addressed and it wasn't and I’m not sure why but these people need help and this is not okay,” Grimes said. Read More...
