SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WSBT) — The investigation into one of South Bend’s deadliest fires continues after 5 children under the age of 11 died in a Sunday evening fire.
The fire happened in the 200 block of LaPorte Avenue.
There was one surviving child pulled from the home, an 11-year-old that is currently at a pediatric burn center in Indianapolis.

Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Centre County say a local journalist is facing charges after he reportedly engaged in sexually explicit communications with whom he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
Investigators say in July of 2022, 54-year-old Christopher Morelli, of Pleasant Gap, allegedly began communicating with an undercover FBI agent who was posing as a teenager.
