PERU, Maine (WMGE) — An Oxford County man has been charged with murdering his wife in western Maine. On Wednesday, he appeared virtually in court hours after the deadly encounter along Route 108 in Peru Tuesday night. David Gaudreau, 60, appeared remotely from the Cumberland County Jail. Meyersdale family wants to go home

MEYSERSDALE -- According to a survey of registered nurses from 2012 to 2013, there are more than 160,000 nurses in Pennsylvania. The problem for many families is only 7 percent of those nurses work in home health. Seventeen-year-old Tyler Henderson lives in Meyersdale, but he hasn't been home in nearly a year. Penn Highlands Healthcare Holds Ribbon-Cutting for Unique Facility

DUBOIS/CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa — Penn Highlands Healthcare held a ribbon-cutting event for the Stern Center for Behavioral Health, their new mental health facility in Dubois, which specifically provides services to children and adolescents. Officials within the system say that when this facility opens, kids will have access to mental health care that the area simply doesn’t have right now.
