A Lititz Fire Company firefighter was caught on camera over the weekend rushing into a barn engulfed in flames to rescue the owner's pet dog from the blaze. On Saturday, the Lititz Fire Company, along with other fire companies, were dispatched to the 900 block of Erbs Quarry Road in Warwick Township for a barn fire. NEW YORK (AP) — Buck Showalter has been hired as manager of the New York Mets, bringing him back to the Big Apple to take over his fifth major league team.
Mets owner Steve Cohen announced the move Saturday afternoon on Twitter. The former Yankees skipper replaces Luis Rojas, who was let go in early October following two losing seasons.
