PHILIPSBURG/CENTRE COUNTY, Pa — Monday evening, the Philipsburg Borough Council opted to make their pursuit of a DCNR grant towards creating a campground at Cold Stream Dam official.
Cold Stream Dam already has a park, a walking path and a number of recreation areas but now, it appears that a campground may be added too.

Clearfield, PA — According to court documents, last year 27-year-old Donna Smith died from a drug overdose in a home on Carson Avenue in DuBois.
Authorities said Patrick O'Brien was charged in her death facing multiple charges including drug possession with intent to deliver and delivery resulting in death.

Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — An inmate at SCI Houtzdale is facing new charges after authorities say he admitted to killing his cellmate earlier this year.
On Friday, police charged 34-year-old Derek Bullard with first-degree murder in the June 15th death of 79-year-old Roberto Quevada.
According to the affidavit, investigators say Bullard allegedly admitted to strangling Quevada and then wrapping his body up in a blanket and leaving him in his bunk. Read More...
