ARLINGTON, Va. (7News) — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating after two planes almost collided at Reagan National Airport (DCA) on Wednesday morning, according to ABC News.
According to the FAA, an air traffic controller canceled the takeoff clearance for an American Airlines flight as a smaller King Air plane was cleared to land on an intersecting runway.

GREENSBURG -- A jury has returned a not guilty verdict in the trial of a man accused of gunning down a St. Clair Township police officer who responded to a domestic violence call.
KDKA-TV reports the jury Friday night found Ray Shetler Jr. not guilty of first- and third-degree murder charges. He's been found guilty on charges of theft and receiving stolen property.
