BLAIR CO., Pa. (WJAC) — With the Olympics underway all the way across the world, it's good to remind folks of Olympics events in our area. Saturday, the annual Winter Games Polar Plunge was held at Canoe Creek State Park to raise money for Special Olympics Pennsylvania and its athletes.

PHILADELPHIA (WKRC) — Five men accused of impersonating police officers to kidnap and kill a 28-year-old man were charged on Thursday.
They kidnapped and killed the man in 2006. The group posed as police officers using fake badges, police lights and firearms, according to the indictment filed in the U.S. District Court in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Shamari Taylor and his 21-year-old girlfriend were kidnapped because they wanted his cocaine and drug money,according to CBS News. Read More...
BELLEFONTE, Pa. -- The Centre County Sheriff's Department is warning of a new phone scam circulating around the area. Sheriff Bryan Sampsel says thieves are somehow 'spoofing' the department's government phone number, calling people saying there's a warrant out for their arrest.
"In the last two days, we've received several calls, mostly from Penn State employees, saying the Centre County Sheriff's Department is coming to arrest them if they don't provide information to them, bank accounts, saying they need to pay the money," Read More...
